Things Hoped For
Book 2 in the Montana Cowboys collection is now available!
Brian Morgan dreams of something more than cattle ranching.
Ever since his brother, Colton, and sister-in-law, Belle, were rescued after their plane crashed in the Colorado Rockies seven months ago, Brian’s discontent flared. Their lives seem so much richer and more exciting than his.
Dealing with ornery cattle and the other thousands of mundane things required to maintain a large ranch pained his soul. He must get away. But where would a cattleman go, and what would he do to support himself?
Will he ever find the woman of his dreams and experience the happiness his older brothers have?
I had so much fun writing Things Hoped For!
After people read Things Not Seen, the first book in the Montana Cowboys two-book collection, they asked for more. Brian’s character showed up briefly in Things Not Seen. His personality caught and held my interest, so, when readers asked for a sequel, I decided to tell the story from his point of view. He is a skilled rancher and outfitter but, in his mind, he thinks his three older bothers have superior skills and abilities. He struggles to determine who he is and what he has to offer; he wants a more exciting, fast-paced life.
Brian is an “everyday” kind of guy who digs deep to find the extraordinary inside of him.
